Erik Lamela was in terrific form as Tottenham Hotspur recorded a 5-0 win over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Spurs entered the match off the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw with Watford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side had also lost their last European game at home to Bayern Munich – suffering a heavy 7-2 loss to the German champions.

The capital outfit returned to winning ways in impressive fashion, though, and Lamela scored once and provided two assists in a star-studded performance.

According to WhoScored, Lamela had five shots, made two tackles and had a pass success rate of 92% during a fine outing in the capital.

As expected, the Tottenham fans were absolutely delighted with what they saw from the Argentina international during his 90 minutes on the field.
